"I am the Locality Lead for Cheltenham. I’ve been in the role for three and a half years. Before that, I came from a management background in retail and I was looking for a more work life balance. My role means that I manage a team of nine people who provide all sorts of admin support to the social workers, social care practitioners. Whatever they ask us to do, we generally will provide that service for them. Admin is the cog that keeps it moving.
"There’s definitely the avenue for me to progress, try different things and be involved in lots of different projects. Also within my role I am able to offer that to my administrators, to mentor them and help them progress. It’s rewarding I think, on both parts for what I do as a manager but also what we do for the wider team." - Business Administration and Systems Team Leader, Cheltenham
