Referral Taker (Grade 5)

As a Referral Taker in Adult Social Care you will work in a locality team on the referral or response centre.

This customer service based role is fundamental to the effectiveness of our referral centre work. It is largely telephone based and involves handling calls, screening calls and updating a central record database, all whilst providing a high standard of customer service.

The Referral Taker works closely with partner agencies and is often the first point of contact for an Adults Social Care Locality Team, therefore Referral Takers are valued team members.
