Deputy Managers (Grade 9)

As a Deputy Manager within our Respite Services for adults with learning disabilities, you will support the Registered Manager in the operational day-to-day management of our 24-hour regulated service, ensuring continued compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) legislation to deliver a high-quality service.

Under the guidance of the Registered Manager and with the support of the Team Leaders, you will:

  • ensure that our respite services are caring, safe, effective, well-led and responsive.
  • achieve this through engaging with individuals attending the service, families, carers, and other professional colleagues, and through the line management of the Respite team. 
  • support the Registered Manager to develop a positive and enabling approach in supporting adults in our short-stay service.

As a Deputy Manager within our Rehabilitation Services, you will support the Registered Manager in the operational day-to-day management of our 24-hour regulated service, ensuring continued compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) legislation to deliver a high-quality service.

Under the guidance of the Registered Manager and with the support of the Team Leaders, you will:

  • ensure that our rehabilitation services are caring, safe, effective, well-led and responsive. 
  • achieve this through engaging with the therapy team, social workers and social care practitioners, GPs and district nurses, hospitals, and other professionals, and through the line management of the Rehabilitation team.
  • support the Registered Manager to develop a positive and reenabling approach in supporting adults to regain their independence in our short-stay service.

The Deputy Team Manager within our Shared Lives Service will support and deputise for the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for providing regulated Shared Lives services. The Deputy Team Manager will

  • be responsible for working with the Team Manager leading and developing the service and to grow the service within Gloucestershire. 
  • work with the Team Manager to lead the service to provide a positive and enabling approach within the Shared Lives Carers, officers and partners to supporting vulnerable adults.
  • have responsibility for providing deputation and day to day management of running the service including managing staff and resources.
