PD Team Manager (Grade 10)

The Practice Development (PD) Team Manager works alongside the Principal Social Worker (PSW) to promote excellent social work practice across Adult Social Care.

The PD Manager works across the service to oversee effective delivery of Adult Social Care’s Assessed and Support Year in Employment (ASYE) programme, overseeing effective delivery of student Social work placements and the quality of our training and development offer to staff. 

Additionally the PD Manager develops and maintains close working relationships with all staff internally including Strategic Managers, Senior Managers and other departments of the Council; alongside external stakeholders such as local Universities and student placement providers.
