Practice Development Social Worker (Grade 9 SCP 31-36)

As a Practice Development Social Worker you will act as a leader from within the Practice Development Team.

You will be responsible for actively promoting high quality practice across Adult Social Care, by providing practical support to front line staff and managers.

The Practice Development Social Worker will co-ordinate practice development through building positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Managed by the Principal Social Worker you will take the lead on the work programmes for student social work placements, Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW) and also support the wider social care workforce in improving the quality of social work practice and learning and development opportunities.
