We have taken the step to review and modernise the system we use. We hope to simplify many of our processes and enhance the experience for customers with more self-service options.
We’re launching a new online booking system on Thursday 12th March for the Registration Service, making it easier to book appointments, ceremonies and order a certificate online.
This means some appointments and services will be temporarily suspended as we move to the new system.
Birth Appointments
Between the Tuesday 3rd March – Wednesday 11th March you will not be able to book a birth registration appointment. The online booking service will resume on the Thursday 12th March.
Death Appointments
During this transition, there may be a small reduction in the availability of death registration appointments. Please bear with us as we manage this change. We will continue to book death registration appointments throughout the transition period.
Certificate Ordering
You can continue to order new certificates during the changes.
