The Growth Hub Gloucestershire launches: 'The Neurodiverse Collective' to support local business owners
Many neurodivergent business owners bring incredible creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills to their work. However, entrepreneurship also has its challenges, from managing energy and capacity, reducing the risk of burnout, and feeling isolated. Networking can also be an overwhelming environment. Although it can be an important part of business growth, traditional networking can leave people feeling that they need to mask or adapt who they are.
The Neurodiverse Collective aims to change that.
It isn't about elevator pitches, forced conversations or masking your authentic self. The collective is about connecting with people who understand the realities of neurodivergent business ownership – a supportive space to share experiences, celebrate wins, exchange ideas and build authentic relationships with people who genuinely "get it".
What to Expect
Attendees can look forward to:
-
A relaxed, welcoming and inclusive environment
-
No pressure to network, ‘fit in’ or participate in any particular way
-
Honest conversations with fellow neurodivergent business owners and professionals
-
A supportive community where people can feel understood, connected and less alone in their business journey
The Hub's co-working space will also be available following the session for those who may wish to work with their accountability partners or tackle their 'to do' list.
Opening TED Talk
The launch event will begin with a 20-minute TED-style talk from neurodiversity coach and neurodivergent business owner Chiara Richards, exploring how understanding your brain can help you work more sustainably with your energy, attention and productivity.
