Early Help Co-ordinators
The Early Help Co-ordinators (EHCO) team provide training, support, advice and guidance to education settings and partners regarding the implementation of the Graduated Pathway including My Assessments and My Plans.
EHCOs have an allocated cluster of settings. This enables strong relationships to be built. Settings have a direct contact and feel confident in asking for support and/or training.
EHCO’s have comprehensive knowledge of community services and resources. Advice and guidance is provided to respond to identified needs and trends in local communities, by pulling together partner agencies and developing multi-agency plans.
EHCO’s provide training which includes:
- The Graduated Pathway of Early Help and Targeted Support
- Team around the Family (TAF) meetings
- Writing and reviewing a My Plan
- Assessment and Analysis
- Listening to and engaging with children
