Family Information Service
The Family Information Service supports and maintains www.glosfamiliesdirectory.org.uk which covers a wide range of information, advice and signposting services to support families, children and young people from 0 - 19 years of age (25 for young people with additional needs).
The team will respond to contact from parents and practitioners who need service/support and do not know where to research the correct information.
The team can enrol parent/carers on Parenting Courses which are run by both the county council and partner agencies.
The team, via their directory, provide information on finding and choosing childcare, such as local day nurseries, playgroups, childminders, children's centres, out of school clubs and holiday play schemes.
