The ASYE programme supports you to enter into your career with the best possible start. You will be supported by an assessor and co-ordinator to build on your knowledge throughout the year, promoting you to grow into your professional identity as a confident, accountable and skilled practitioner.
- Monthly peer reflexive supervision with other ASYE's, led by an Advanced Educator, to develop skills in hypothesising and introduce systemic practice ideas
- A significant curriculum to hand pick learning opportunities that take into account your needs and experiences. These learning opportunities include topics around domestic abuse, engaging men in planning, permanence, reunification, court skills, direct work and much more
- Protected study days to complete critical reflections and ASYE paperwork
- Protected and monitored caseloads, reduced to allow for learning and development
- A comprehensive induction including shadowing across service areas and joint working to build confidence
- Access to a Advanced Educator from the academy with significant practice experience as your ASYE co-ordinator
- Networking and relationship building days with other ASYE's to build relationships and peer support
