Allegations Management Team
The Allegations Management Team coordinate the safeguarding and investigative process in response to allegations made against people working with children.
To provide advice/guidance to employers or voluntary organisations when there are concerns or allegations about individuals who work with children.
Where we are based
The Children’s Safeguarding and Reviewing Service are based in Shire Hall.
Who we are
We are compromised of 2.5 LADOs (Local Authority Designated Officers) 2.5 business administrators and 1 service manager.
Skills you'll need
Any new LADOs joining our team require a minimum of 5 years post SW qualification experience and team management experience in children’s safeguarding. LADOs need to have strong interpersonal skills which are essential for building and maintaining relationships across the Local Authority. They need to have good problem-solving skills and an ability to deal with sensitive issues, manage conflicting views and expectations and cope with unpredictable, complex situations.
