Stage 2: operational requirement and system specification

It is important that basic operational requirements are developed for all our systems. We understand what these requirements are in stage 1 and build them into our design, operation, and maintenance specifications during stage 2. This includes:

• Camera locations, operating hours and the threat or activity to be observed,
• Who monitors the system, how it will be staffed and what training is required,
• Display, recording, access, exporting, and archiving requirements,
• Maintenance requirements (as any system will deteriorate without on-going maintenance), and,
• Any engineering issues.
