Research at Gloucestershire County Council
Research at Gloucestershire County Council
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) values research that informs decisions about practice, policies and interventions, contributes to more inclusive services and helps us innovate.
Research Governance Process
We have a duty of care to all our service users and employees, as well as statutory responsibilities under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in relation to the data we hold.
We have a research governance process in place to review requests to use council resources, such as data, staff, or settings, for research purposes to ensure that we carefully consider and control the impact of research proposals on council activity and operations, as well as our own policies and procedures.
