April’s Families in Partnership newsletter for families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
The April edition of the monthly Families in Partnership newsletter is now available and has information on the latest news for our families with SEND in Gloucestershire. The newsletter covers topics SEND families tell us, and our partner organisations, are important and it keeps families aware of updates on Gloucestershire’s Local Offer, Support for Families with SEND.
In April’s issue we have an article on the SEND reforms and a local school, who are part of the Preparing for Adulthood Forum, showcase their successful programme. The newsletter also has details of awareness events in the coming weeks and how the SEND space in Gloucestershire is supporting those events. This edition also includes how to find support for the exam season.
The news article from across the partnership also updates on the planners approving the design for a new special school in Cheltenham.
If you’re reading this newsletter for the first time, we hope you find it useful. If there is a change we should make; or if you would like something to be featured (especially a celebration of a child or young person with SEND); or if you have any questions then please email us - familiesinpartnership@gloucestershire.gov.uk
If you are part of a SEND family, please subscribe to the monthly Families in Partnership newsletter. Please tell all those in your communities, who may find the newsletter useful too.
