Armed Forces Day
Armed Forces Day is taking place on Saturday 24 June. We will be flying the Armed Forces Day flag at Shire Hall over the weekend to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.
Below are some events taking place around the county to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
Armed Forces Day at the Jet Age Museum (with GCC stand)
Saturday 24 June 10.00am – 4.00pm
Free to attend with participants from: RAFA, RBL, RNA, Fly2Help, SSAFA, Blind Veterans, Aden Vets plus lots of military vehicles and re-enactors.
The cafe will be open as usual plus all other attractions found at the Jet Age Museum are open as normal. https://jetagemuseum.org
Armed Forces Day at the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum
Saturday 24 June 11.00am – 5.00pm Free entry to outdoor event (Museum Admission charge applies)
Come along to the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum on Saturday 24 June to celebrate and give thanks to our Armed Forces. Lots of things to do for all the family, including live music, hot food, and outdoor bar. www.soldiersofglos.com/museum-events
