Cyber Awareness Training

Published

Dear Member,

Given our reliance on the internet in all of our roles, it’s really important that staff and members have good cyber awareness to combat cyber-attacks including how to spot malicious phishing emails.

Our supplier has released an update to the existing Cyber & GDPR  awareness e-learning which is now available for you to access.

The modules are well designed and presented in an easy-to-digest way. There are fourteen modules in total, each taking around 10 minutes to complete. You don’t have to do them all at once. You can do just one at a time and it records your progress.

Previously, you should have received an email from matobolearning.co.uk with a link to the training along with a prompt for your username and password.

To access the e-learning from your council supplied i-Pad click on the icon below or search matobolearning.co.uk

We have also produced a guidance document to help you through the log-in procedure which may be helpful.

If you experience any issues accessing the training please contact the ICT Critical User helpdesk on criticaluser@gloucestershire.gov.uk or democraticservices@gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Do try to find time to do the training if you can. It will help you keep information safe not just in your councillor role but also with your political and personal activities outside the council.
