Dementia Awareness Training for All Members

Timings: 2.30-4.30pm
Location: Committee Room (dependent on numbers, the training may move to the Council Chamber)
At the request of the Adult Social Care and Communities Scrutiny Committee, members have an opportunity to learn more about dementia, including how to reduce the risk of dementia, recognise signs and symptoms, understand common types of dementia, and how to seek diagnosis. In addition, the training will provide information on what support is available for people affected by dementia.
