Find a new career at the Friendship Café
Gloucestershire County Council’s Adult Social Care recruitment team is attending the Community Open Day at the Friendship Cafe in Gloucester on Saturday 11 March.
The recruitment team will be at the event to showcase the huge variety of career opportunities available across Adult Social Care.
The event takes place from 10am until 3pm at the Friendship Cafe (Chequers Bridge Centre, Painswick Road, GL4 6PR). It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the roles and training opportunities available at the council.
Council colleagues will be on hand to chat to the community about the difference they make every day, helping to support local people of all ages with care and support needs.
As well as learning about job roles and vacancies, job seekers will also be supported with application tips and advice.
There is no need to book, people can turn up on the day. Refreshments available include tea, coffee and a light lunch, and there is onsite parking.
There is an enclosed area especially for children with a bouncy castle and entertainment, to help keep them happy and occupied while parents talk to the team about the fantastic opportunities available.
