As we see young children joining their Reception classes in primary schools and Year 6 transitioning to secondary school this September, Admissions is an area where Members may well receive communication from their ward constituents.
Whilst the focus is on the start of term, the annual Admissions process starts again quickly on the conclusion of the previous academic year. The attached document aims to provide Members with an overview of the Admissions annual cycle with all the key dates for application submission and allocation days. The document also provides details of the advice and guidance Members can signpost their ward constituents to at key points in the process.
