Grass cutting is underway

Published

Spring is here and Gloucestershire is in full bloom. For safety reasons, we’re cutting some roadside grass verges to help maintain visibility at junctions and bends. At this stage we’re carrying out small safety cuts, then later in the season we’ll return to cut a 1-metre swathe on all roads.

This week we started grass cutting across the east of the county – from Buckland, Stanton and Stanway, all the way through Yanworth, Bibury, Fairford and down to Kempsford.

Next week, from Monday 11 May – Friday 15 May we’ll focus on central areas of the county before moving on to the southwest and then the northwest.
