LGR Hub Launch

The LGR Hub is our dedicated online space for everything related to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) in Gloucestershire.

Our LGR Hub has been created to make it easier for staff and members across all seven Gloucestershire's councils to stay informed, find answers to questions and keep up to date with the latest developments on Local Government Reorganisation, all in one place.

On the LGR Hub, you'll find: 

  • The latest LGR news, updates and videos 
  • A comprehensive FAQ section with the opportunity to ask your questions 
  • An archive of all fortnightly updates so far, and moving forward – you’ll get a weekly digest direct to your inbox from the LGR Hub, enabling you to stay up-to-date
  • Dedicated area for members including news, briefings and a town and parish council newsletter archive
  • Staff stories  
  • Events (for example, staff briefing dates and past recordings)  
  • Dedicated pages for each work programme with information about the programme leads, sponsors and managers
  • An LGR glossary
  • And more!

 

What to expect when you first access our LGR Hub
The first time you visit the LGR Hub, you'll be asked to grant consent through Microsoft Azure. This is a standard and secure sign-in process that allows the Hub to verify your account using your email address and username.

To access the Hub, simply select grant consent. Once you've completed this step, you won't be asked to consent again on future visits.

We're encouraging everyone to bookmark the Hub and check back regularly. As the LGR programme develops, the LGR Hub will become the primary source of information, updates and resources for staff across Gloucestershire. Over time, councils will move away from sharing LGR updates on individual intranets, helping ensure everyone has access to the same up-to-date information in one place.

To make it even easier to stay informed, you'll also receive a weekly digest email highlighting the latest news, key developments, important updates and recently added content from across the LGR Hub.
