Minerals & Waste Local Plan Notification Update

The following documents are available to view on the Council's website:

• Notice of Intention to Commence Plan-Making: Notice of Intention to Commence the Minerals and Waste Local Plan (MWLP) | Gloucestershire County Council
• Minerals and Waste Development Scheme (Plan Timetable): Gloucestershire Minerals and Waste Development Scheme (2026 – 2029) | Gloucestershire County Council

The new plan will guide minerals and waste development in Gloucestershire over the plan period and will be prepared under the new plan-making system introduced by the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026.

There will be opportunities for stakeholders and communities to become involved as work on the plan progresses. Details of future consultation and engagement activities will be published on the Council's website and circulated to consultees in due course.
