New Highways contact form
During the Highways Transformation Programme we have made many improvements to customer communications. For example, it’s now easy to report issues online using Fix My Street. Almost all the enquiries we receive can be processed through Fix My Street and it’s by far the fastest way for us to process enquiries.
For rare cases when an issue can’t be resolved using Fix My Street, we have created a new contact form. The form is integrated with our internal reporting systems and will enable us to process enquiries more efficiently than email enquiries.
We aim to launch the new contact form on our website on Wednesday 18 September. From this date you will find the form on the Highways contact us page. Please remove the following email address from your records and any publicity materials: highways@gloucestershire.gov.uk From 18 September the inbox for this email address will no longer be monitored, although an automated response will direct people to Fix My Street and the new contact form.
Please continue to encourage residents to use Fix My Street in the first instance. Your support with this is greatly appreciated and we have already seen a dramatic increase in the proportion of enquiries received through Fix My Street. The highways councillor email address will remain available should you need it: highwayscouncillors@gloucestershire.gov.uk.
