Survey to give valuable social care information -2025

Published

Members should be aware that over the coming weeks a random survey of adult social care service users in the county is taking place.

This survey will give essential information to help plan future services. It will go out to a sample of around 1,460 adults who have received care and support services in the community and in care homes paid for or arranged by Gloucestershire adult social care. The results of the survey will help the council, Department for Health and Social Care and the Government better understand how services affect people's lives. The surveys have been posted to people this week and should be returned by Friday 7 March.

This is an annual national survey carried out under the guidance of NHS Digital.  Responses will be treated in confidence and service users will not be personally identified in the results, which are shared with the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS Digital. This information should help members answer any constituent’s questions about why they have received the survey.

Please do encourage anyone who speaks to you about this to take part and share their views, which will be treated in strictest confidence.
