Domestic Abuse Consultation
In partnership with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), we are holding a Domestic Abuse Needs consultation, to get a better understanding of domestic abuse within Gloucestershire.
We want to learn about people’s experience and understanding of domestic abuse and the impact that it has; from accessing and receiving support, both for victims/survivors and perpetrators, professionals’ responses to domestic abuse, the level of need in Gloucestershire, the impact on communities, good practice, and where there are any areas for development.
There are four anonymous surveys. Please complete and share any surveys that are relevant to you. The results will inform the new domestic abuse strategy and services for the county. All surveys close on 30 June.
Professionals’ survey
Do you support people who could be victims or perpetrators of domestic abuse? We know that there can be barriers to getting support. We want to hear your thoughts on how to improve support across the county:

Community survey
Do you know someone who has experienced domestic abuse? We want to hear from our communities to understand what further support and information are needed: https://gloucestershire-opcc.welcomesyourfeedback.net/DANAcommunitysurvey
Survivors’ survey
Have you been a victim of domestic abuse? Have you received support from specialist services or agencies like police or health? Did you receive all the support you needed or was there more that could have been done? Your valuable insights can help shape our future response and improve the services we provide: https://gloucestershire-opcc.welcomesyourfeedback.net/DANAsurvivorsurvey
Perpetrators’ survey
Have you committed domestic abuse in the past, or noticed harmful behaviours you would like support with? Your perspective can help shape services and prevent domestic abuse: https://gloucestershire-opcc.welcomesyourfeedback.net/DANAperpetratorsurvey
