Case Study: Ahmad

Ahmad arrived from Syria through the UK Resettlement Scheme with his father, mother and siblings. Ahmad was 10 when he came to Gloucester and has become part of his local community. He has done well at school and was head boy in year 11. He volunteered at St James’ City Farm and developed a love of horses which has led to a future in the world of horse racing through a programme developed by The British Racing School. Ahmad talks about his future dreams of working with horses.
