Case study - Highnam

In Gloucestershire, we have been very fortunate to have ongoing community support for our Ukrainian guests from many organisations.  One such example came from the Province of Gloucestershire Freemasons Society who offered the Homes for Ukraine team 50 free tickets for our guests and their hosts to attend their July family summer event.  Tickets included a free afternoon cream tea (and a glass of bubbly for the grown-ups) and the organiser very generously increased the numbers of tickets to meet our overwhelming demand.

The event included classic cars, live music and cake tasting.  Unfortunately, the weather was that of a typical British summers day and umbrellas were needed. 

The organisers confirmed over 200 Ukrainians, their families and hosts attended.
