Case study - Abraham gives back to GARAS
Abraham came to the UK from Ethiopia. He waited 16 months for his right to remain and, until he came to Gloucestershire, had to do his own research online and at the library to get the information he needed. Once he arrived in Gloucester, he found GARAS, and they have helped and supported him with the asylum process.
In return, Abraham has helped GARAS with translation and, after receiving some training, can support with interpreting at therapy sessions. He is very happy to be able to give something back to GARAS.

"GARAS helped a lot with asylum questions and how to find solicitors, so I think GARAS are really the best."
