SEND & AP Change Programme
The SEND and Alternative Provision (AP) Change Programme is a national initiative launched by the Department for Education (DfE) to test and refine reforms proposed in the SEND and AP Improvement Plan (March 2023). It is designed to build a more inclusive, consistent, and financially sustainable system for children and young people with SEND or who need AP.
- Development of Gloucestershire’s Tiered Model of Alternative Provision
- Piloting of the Alternative Provision Specialist Taskforce (known as Coordinated Support Team in Gloucestershire)
- Development of the Online Directory of Alternative Provision
