Section 19
- Under Section 19 of the Education Act 1996, local authorities must provide suitable education for children of compulsory school age who cannot attend school due to health or disciplinary reasons.
Fair Access Protocol
- The Fair Access Protocol is devised, as required by the School Admission Code 2021, to ensure that unplaced children, outside the normal admissions round, especially the most vulnerable, are offered a place at a suitable school as quickly as possible.
