Earliest Support Pathway
This is a TEST PAGE and currently under development. All information is in DRAFT form and not finalised. This will be launched on 1st November 2026

The Earliest Support Pathway is Gloucestershire’s framework for planning and assessment with families with a broad range of needs including those children requiring support through the SEND Graduated Approach
The pathway supports practitioners, families and communities to work together to ensure that the right support is provided at the right time, by the right people, preventing needs from escalating and helping children and young people to thrive.
The pathway is based on the principle that support works best when concerns are recognised early, strengths are built upon, and families are actively involved in developing solutions that work for them. It is everyone's responsibility to notice when a child, young person or family may benefit from additional support and to take action at the earliest opportunity.
There is an intrinsic relationship with Gloucestershire’s Levels of Intervention, and this document should be used when utilising the Pathway. HERE
