Competition to rebrand the Local Offer

The Local Offer provides information about the available support for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities.

We are working with our parent / carer community to redevelop the Local Offer. They tell us that the name ‘Local Offer’ doesn’t explain what it is and that many in the community do not even know it exists.

In response we are looking to rename the Local Offer so that it is clear what it is for and so that it is easy for parents to find. We are offering a competition to Gloucestershire’s parents to rename the Local Offer with a prize of £50 Quays vouchers for the winning entry. The entries will be judged, and the winning entry chosen, by the group of parent/carers who are working on the initial stages of the redevelopment project.

Please send your suggestions to by Friday April 15. The winning entry will be announced in the next edition of Families in Partnership in June.
