Carers Weeks 2023 - dates for your diary!

Gloucestershire Carers Hub is organising events to celebrate Carers Week from 5th – 11th June 2023.
Carers Week is a national campaign that aims to recognise and support unpaid Carers in our community.
As a Parent Carer, you are an essential part of your family and community, and we want to acknowledge your significant contribution.
We understand that being a Carer can be challenging, so we are organising a diverse range of events to provide you with valuable support. Some of these events will be online, and we have an IT volunteer who can assist you if you're not comfortable with technology.
We'll also be holding pop-up events throughout the week in different locations around the county, and we'll share information about these events via email and social media.
We invite you and the person you support to attend a drop-in event on Thursday, 8th June, 2023, at The Pavilion in Cheltenham between 10.00am and 2.30pm.
This event will give you access to information from a variety of services across the county. You can also enjoy a picnic in the outdoor space, where you can bring food and chairs to relax and socialise.
During the event, we would like to hear your story as a Parent Carer. We will have a videographer on-site to record your story and how support you have received has helped you. If you're interested in sharing your story, please email bookings@peopleplus.co.uk.
