Renaming of the local offer

Published
We ran a competition in our Spring newsletter to rename Gloucestershire’s Local Offer. The local offer provides information about the available support for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities. The parent carer community have told us that the name doesn’t explain what it is and that many in the community don’t even know it exists.

The competition entries were reviewed by Gloucestershire’s Parent Carer Forum and they chose ‘Support for families with SEND - Gloucestershire’s Local Offer’ - as the winning name.  The winner of the £50 Quays voucher is Molly Macleod.  Molly works for the Education Hub in GCC but is also the parent of a child with SEND. Well done, Molly!

The next stage of the redevelopment project will be to rebrand and relaunch the Local Offer in the Autumn.Â
