Accessibility Strategy 2024-27

Published
The Accessibility Strategy sets out what the Local Authority will do to encourage an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with SEND across the Local Area.

Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) has a legal duty to prepare an accessibility strategy for the schools and settings for which it is responsible, under the Equality Act (2010).

The Accessibility Strategy 2024-27 sets out how the Local Authority will support schools and settings, for which it is the responsible body, to comply with these duties and other educational settings including those for Early Years and Post 16.

The Local Authority will review the strategy annually, and will continue to work with stakeholders to promote within schools and settings.

If you’d like to read the strategy it’s available through the Gloucestershire Accessibility Strategy 2024-2027 page on the GlosFamilies Directory and Local Offer.
