Supported Internship Ceremony 2024

Published
Supported Interns from post 16 provision in Gloucestershire celebrated the end of their placements and the achievements over the year, as part of their next steps towards employment.

On the 27th June we hosted the end of year graduation ceremony for our Class of 2024 at the guildhall. This event was to celebrate all the hard work that the students have put in this year to break down their barriers, taking a step towards employment. The event was really successful with a near full attendance of 80 people.

We had speaker from Gloucestershire County Council, The Employment & Skills Hub and externals partners from the long table who gave us a motivational speech around the benefits of work and finding your strengths in life which was really great to listen to.

26 of our students were presented certificates for their hard work and completing the course which they can use as prospects on their CV for attaining employment.

This annual event presented very positive feedback and smiles all round. It was truly amazing and was a very good reminder of why we do what we do. Well, done and thank you to everyone involved.
