Helen Bond, Coordinator of Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum; Amanda Henderson, Head of SEND, GCC and Jess Glenn, Head of Integrated Commissioning – Children and Families, GCC / Gloucestershire CCG.Welcome to December’s issue of Families In Partnership, our coproduced newsletter for parent carers in Gloucestershire. Our hope is that together, Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum (GPCF), Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) and Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) can provide you with up to date information and guidance that is useful to you and your family for the time of year.

We also want to ensure you have opportunities to have your voice heard and your experiences can help to shape how we work together.

To ensure we are providing information that you would like to see, we would be grateful for your feedback on Families In Partnership newsletter so far and what you would like to see covered in future issues. Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum have set up an online survey for you to feedback what you think. All responses are welcome and will go directly to the Forum.

Let us know what you think

As we move rapidly towards the end of 2021, we continue to assess the impact of our local SEND offer and are working closely with Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum to ensure that our future priorities respond to the current challenges. We will be looking to engage with people across the SEND community on the three-year plan in the New Year. More information on this to follow in January 2022.

Wishing you and your family a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
