Carer support over Christmas

Published
With the festive holidays nearly here, it’s important for you to know when Support organisations are open over the Christmas week.

As we get closer to Christmas, with interruptions around bank holidays and some organisations closing on certain days, it can be difficult to know who can help and when.

To help give you a clearer idea of some of the support available, we’ve asked some of the key organisations who can support carers in Gloucestershire, to share their availability through the festive period.

Gloucestershire Carers Hub will be open 9am-5pm on the 27th, 28th, 29th December, with the service closing on Bank Holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day). You can get in contact via email or their website, or via phone on 0300 111 9000.

Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum, SENDIASS and Gloucestershire Young Carers will all break up for the festive period at 5pm on Friday 22nd December, and re-open on Monday 2nd January.

If they are any urgent queries, during any closures you should contact  Children and Families Services.
