Opportunity for young people to join the Youth Transport Forum!

Published
Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire Community Rail Partnership (GOCRP) has launched a Youth Transport Forum, providing a platform for young people to make their voices heard on the transport matters that affect them.

Building on the extensive youth-led initiatives and research conducted by GOCRP, the forum is designed to highlight the transport priorities for young people. The plan is to workshop potential solutions to any gaps and barriers identified, that can then be taken forward to impact future transport developments in the region.

The Youth Transport Forum is a great opportunity to make a difference. It will allow young people to speak out about their experiences and work with others to shape the future of transport.

The forum will take place across four sessions in 2025, spread across Oxford and Gloucester. Each session will focus on a different transport related topic selected by the participants, ensuring the forum remains youth-led throughout.

It is open to anyone aged 16-25 who lives, works, or studies in Gloucestershire or Oxfordshire. Find info about dates, travel subsidies and how to apply. Any questions about the event please email Luke from GOCRP: luke@gocrp.org.uk.
