Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service: Young Carer Day - Wednesday, 12th March 2025

Published
Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service are providing a focus on recognising Young Carer Day on Wednesday, 12th March 2025 with the theme 'Give me a Break'

Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service wish to recognise the valuable role Young Carers hold, with a focus on both the strengths and successes of this and considering some of the aspects which may support these young people.

Research indicates that this group of young people may be ‘hidden’, therefore the aim is to promote awareness through offering guidance to school staff and young people for identifying and supporting them effectively to promote positive outcomes.

The poster is suitable for school staff and the leaflet is designed for children and young people in Key Stage 2 or early Key Stage 3 and is designed to be completed or shared with school staff if the young person wishes to.

We invite you to look at these helpful resources for Young Carer’s Day:

·       Poster for school staff on Young Carers

·       Leaflet for Young Carers
