We’re excited to introduce Library Littles - a free, fun group for children aged 0-5 years and their parents or carers, now running in 30 Gloucestershire Libraries (some to be supported by Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum) and Help & Hope Fairs, which are events for parent carers of children & young people with SEND/SEMH at Cheltenham and Stroud Libraries in the February half-term holidays

What are Library Littles and Hope to Help Fairs?

Library Littles is a friendly and welcoming space for little ones to explore the joy of stories, song and sensory play. These sessions help develop early language skills and encourage learning through play, sparking creativity and imagination in a relaxed setting.

What to expect:

Stories and songs led by our friendly Library Assistants
🧸 A variety of toys and items for children to explore
🌍 Exciting themes like ‘Under the Sea,’ ‘Out in Space,’ and ‘Jungle Safari’
💡 A fun and relaxed space for both children and their carers
🎉 Best of all – it’s FREE!

How to join:

Find a session at your local library and book your place here: Events | Gloucestershire Libraries

Extra support available

The Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum will be attending selected Library Littles sessions to offer support for families who care for children with a disability, physical or mental health condition or learning difference. Look out for specific dates and locations to be advertised soon.
