Welcome to the Families in Partnership Newsletter for February 2026 - supporting families with SEND

Published
In this edition of the Families in Partnership newsletter we share the latest updates, news and developments for families with SEND from across Gloucestershire. This includes a spotlight on Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum’s (GPCF) Annual SEND Fair on Monday, 9 February in Cheltenham. The SEND Fair is an opportunity for families to meet services, learn about local support and connect with other Parent Carers. Please take a look at the full article for more details, including where to park on the day. We look forward to seeing you!

This edition also includes useful information for you and your child to help prepare for starting school if your child has additional needs.  There is an update on Delivering Better Value, along with a heartfelt thank you from the Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) team at Gloucestershire County Council to all those who attended and supported the PfA events across Gloucestershire in November.

We also take a holistic look at Valentine’s Day on 14 February and offer a reminder to celebrate the universal human need for love.
