Forest Pulse is a charity based in the Forest of Dean supporting children, young people with disabilities and their families.

Membership is open from birth but access to activities is from the age of four years old.

Our service is open to anyone living or attending school/college in the Forest of Dean.

We provide a whole range of activities from the ages of 4 – 30 years old. We provide evening social groups, after school activities, weekend & school holiday activities.

Alongside providing these activities we are also happy to offer family support - We won’t know the answer to everything but hopefully we will know someone who does!

  • An example of topics we can help with:
  • Benefit applications
  • Contacts for other services
  • Grants for equipment, holidays etc.
  • EHCP advice
  • Attending meetings
  • Respite advice
  • Support and help implement strategies for behaviours, routines etc.
  • Out of school activities
  • Make contacts to other parents in a similar situation

For more information about Forest Pulse, please see their record on Glosfamilies Directory. Don't forget to visit Support of Families with SEND to find more advice, guidance and inclusive things to do in your area.
