Our interactive map is a valuable tool for young people, parent carers, teachers, and caseworkers looking for post-16 education options in Gloucestershire. With over 1,300 views since its launch on March 17, it helps users explore mainstream, special, independent, and training providers to support informed decision-making.

This easy-to-use tool helps you discover the full range of education and training opportunities available after Year 11. Since launching on 17 March, it has already been viewed over a thousand times, showing its value to people across the county.
What’s Included?
The map provides a clear overview of post-16 education providers in Gloucestershire, including:
Maintained Special Schools/Colleges – Schools offering tailored support for students with additional needs (young people will need an EHCP to access a placement).
Mainstream Further Education Providers – Schools providing A-levels and other academic qualifications, including apprenticeships.
Independent Special Schools/Colleges – Institutions offering specialised learning environments.
Independent Mainstream Schools – Private schools with post-16 education options.
Training Providers – Organisations offering vocational training and apprenticeships.
Mainstream Specialist Units – Supportive learning spaces within mainstream colleges (young people will need an EHCP to access a placement).
