Families In Partnership – the journey so far and looking ahead

Published
It’s been over a year since the first Families In Partnership Newsletter, and we hope you’ve been enjoying the Newsletter, since it’s first publication.

Lots has changed since the first edition, with the first newsletters created to provide information to parent carers in Gloucestershire during the COVID-19 Pandemic, to ensure you get important information you need in a clear, concise way.

Since then, the Families in Partnership Newsletter has been released every two months, sharing information about the latest developments in Gloucestershire which might be useful for you and your family.

Anyone who wants to sign up to Families In Partnership Newsletters, can receive these every two months and will receive useful information for families of children and young people with a disability.

Anyone can subscribe to the GovDelivery mailing list to receive the next Families in Partnership newsletter as soon as it issued.

With the next academic year coming up quickly, we thought it would be worth sharing some useful information for the next academic year.

Term dates for 2023-24 (PDF, 268.9 KB) , can be particularly helpful with planning the next academic year; this information can be useful in looking at what’s coming up for you and your family.

These term dates can vary across different educational provision (particularly with post 16 provision and colleges) so it’s worth double checking on these dates with the school or college your child attends, but these term dates are a good start for getting ready for September.

After this edition, the next Families in Partnership Newsletter will be published in August – we look forward to getting in touch then with any other important news before the start of the next academic year.
