Hearing from families – your feedback
Families in Partnership – getting in touch
Your feedback and views are really important to help us respond to things that are important to you and your family. You can contact us directly with comments and queries, which will help shape future Families in Partnership newsletters. To get in touch just email: familiesinpartnership@gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Families have told us that reading about the experiences of others in the Families in Partnership newsletter can positively encourage and inspire them - if you have a experience, you think might help other families please get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.
Sharing voice about services in Gloucestershire
We’ve been working with our co-production partners to develop and use a feedback poster. This is helping us to pull together the voice of parent carers and families around the county. The idea is that this poster can be used at events, coffee mornings, meetings and through 1-1 catch ups with families around the county.
You can use our poster too – visit our page on how to have your say for a copy of this, along with a guide on how to use it. We also have an online version to gather feedback which you can use to share your views. If you unsure about anything on the poster, or would like to speak with us about this, get in contact via our email.
If you’re a young person who wants to share your thoughts, don’t forget you can get in touch futureme@gloucestershire.gov.uk or by visiting Get Involved to find out more about how you can share your voice.
We really appreciate you taking the time to get involved, to share your thoughts or use the feedback poster whether individually, as part of a group or as an organisation. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with us
What do we do with your feedback?
The following are just some of the ways that we use your feedback to help make a positive difference for families:
- Share your feedback with the SEND and Inclusion Local Area Partnership (SILAP), so that our strategic leaders across education, health and care understand what's important to you and how things are working for you and your family.
- Identify themes from across all feedback that informs our "You Said, We Did" improvement work to Gloucestershire's Local Offer. Our next Annual Report of this work is due at the end of August 2024.
- Ensure that communications like Families in Partnership Newsletters, Support for Families with SEND, Gloucestershire's Local Offer and Future Me, Young Peoples Local Offer are up to date and relevant to what's important to you.
