Imagination Library

Published
At the Virtual School, we have been part of the Imagination Library since 2014.  Imagination Library was set up by Dolly Parton in America. It is a book gifting service that enables children to receive one book a month, delivered to the home that they are living in.

Every young person in care from birth to their fifth birthday is signed up for this automatically and this project has now been extended to children with a social worker (Child in Need and Child Protection plans) on a sign up basis. The child will continue to receive a book every month even if they leave care, their plan changes such as moving to a Special Guardianship Order, adoption or social worker involvement ceases.

For children with a social worker, you need to scan the QR code or use the link below to sign up. Children in care do not need to do this – you are signed up automatically.
