SEND Preparing for Adulthood Event at SkillZONE

We would like to invite you all to our first SEND Preparation for Adulthood event at SkillZONE in Tuffley, on Tuesday 2nd July.

Working in collaboration with Gloucestershire County Council, Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum and SkillZONE this event is designed to inform and engage Parents, Carers, Young People, Teachers, and professionals with a wide range of services and organisations working within SEND, Preparation for Adulthood, and transitions remit. 

We have keynote speakers and exhibitors from across Education, Health and Social Care for parents, carers and professionals. You can book via the Eventbrite link for the PFA Event or use the QR code on the promotional flyer for the PfA Event to secure your place - limited tickets are available.

There will be information stands manned from a wide range of services who will all be ready to answer any questions or queries you may have about the preparation for adulthood journey and transitions.

We have engaging and fun activities for young people to include exploring the SkillZONE village, engage with the Fire Service and explore a real fire truck, and take part in art activities with Creative Sustainability.

The Coop will be providing FREE refreshments in the Parent meet and great area, there will be a comfortable breakout room if you or your younger child needs a little time out.
