Take the Healthwatch Gloucestershire Survey: Exploring Lifestyle Behaviours and Mental Health in Young People (age 11–18)

Healthwatch Gloucestershire are working on a new project to hear directly from young people aged 11–18 about their experiences of mental health support, physical activity, vaping, and the impact of social media on their wellbeing.
Healthwatch Gloucestershire is your local health and social care champion. From the Forest of Dean to Fairford and everywhere in between, they make sure National Health Service (NHS) leaders and other decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care.
They want to understand what’s working well, the challenges young people face, and where support and services could be improved. This includes:
• Access to mental health and wellbeing support.
• Opportunities and barriers to being active and exercising.
• Experiences and influences around vaping.
• The effects of social media.
By listening to young people’s views and experiences, they aim to highlight key issues and share recommendations to help shape more accessible, supportive, and youth‑friendly services across Gloucestershire.
They would love to hear your thoughts through the online Survey.
The survey closes on 1 April 2026.
They are also looking for opportunities to hear directly from young people where they are, so if you are running a group or activity, they would love to be involved in supporting you with this.
