Future me - engagement with children and young people across Gloucestershire
Visiting schools, colleges, alternative provisions and extra-curricular settings across each district, data and feedback will be collected so that the views of children and young people can shape services.
Our two objectives for this year are: firstly, to capture a ‘snap shot’ of how children and young people feel right now and secondly to take a ‘temperature gauge’ of how confident young people aged 14+ feel about preparing for adulthood. This county-wide engagement will be combined with more specific coproduction with our team our Youth Representatives and other young volunteers who share their views and experiences in greater detail. Â
You can share your views about what it feels like to be growing up with additional needs or disabilities in Gloucestershire with us at any time by emailing futureme@gloucestershire.gov.uk or message us on Instagram @futuremeglos. More information can be found on the Young People’s Local Offer. You can also view Future Me’s latest newsletter.
